Professional Experience and Education

I opened my private practice in Brampton Ontario in 2003 as a student with the Ontario and the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapist (OAMFT, AAMFT respectively).  I gained clinical status as a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist (RMFT) with the OAMFT and AAMFT in August of 2008.  I a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapist of Ontario (CRPO-October 1017).

My focus is in communication and conflict resolution.  I work within the context of  marriage, couple, family, and individual counseling.  I also help people with various other issues such as anxiety, depression, and bereavement to name a few.  I have created and implemented various workshops concerning communication, conflict management/resolution, personality profiles, marriage and premarital workshops.  I am currently creating a new workshop entitled Check-Mate.

I have experience in several theoretical approaches to match with the issue and client at hand. Some of these approaches include Family Systems and Cognitive Behavioral methods such as Solution Focus, Narrative, and Object Relations.
